Keychange is an international campaign which invests in emerging female talent whilst encouraging festivals to sign up to a 50:50 gender balance pledge by 2022. More than 100 festivals worldwide have signed their pledge.

The Girls Rock Camp Alliance is an international membership network of youth-centered arts and social justice organizations. Girls Rock Camps help girls build self-esteem and find their voices through unique programming that combines music education and performance, empowerment and social justice workshops, positive role models, and collaboration and leadership skill building.

They are focused on empowering, educating, and connecting women throughout their creative entrepreneur journeys. #WomenCrush Music serves to create opportunities for rising women songwriters. They work to connect artists with future collaborators, educate them about the business, and inspire them to make an impact on this male-dominated industry.


shesaidso is a global network that works to enable women in music to connect with each other to network, exchange information, and get access to resources.


Girls Write Nashville is a songwriting and production community for middle and high-school girls in Nashville. Their mission is to empower expression through mentorship, songwriting, and music production with no cost to participants.


Women In Jazz Organization is a collective of professional performing Jazz Musicians who identify as Women or gender Non-Binary. Their goal is to help level the playing field in Jazz, so that women and non-binary people have equal opportunity to participate in and contribute to Jazz, leading to an improved and more rich, diverse, and successful art form.


PLAY LIKE A GIRL is a women-powered collective that aims to create safe spaces for women* + non-binary people to connect, create and learn with and from one another.


Girls March is empowering young women through music and leadership. They offer week-long leadership training seminars for young female musicians. Their goal is to create a supportive community for young women to interact directly with female role models and develop the technical and leadership skills they will need to be successful in their future professional endeavors.


Women account for less than 7% of producers and engineers. The 7% is a series designed to highlight and create a safe haven for women in music. They are creating a unified and inclusive platform to craft solutions while building and strengthening the community.


Women’s Audio Mission is a San Francisco/Oakland-based nonprofit organization that uses music and media and an incredible “carrot” of a training environment –  the only professional recording studio in the world built and run by women –  to attract over 2,000 underserved women and girls every year to STEM and creative technology studies that inspire them to amplify their voices and become the innovators of tomorrow.
