Hello friends,
For seven years, Book More Women has been visualizing gender disparity in music and sparking industry-wide conversation. But women still make up only 25% of musicians booked at major U.S. festivals. So now, we're taking the next step: moving from awareness to direct action and designing solutions to change the numbers–and the systems behind them.
We're excited to share that Book More Women is now a fiscally sponsored project of Fractured Atlas as we pursue our own 501(c)(3) status! 🎉
We're building programs that work from both within the industry and outside of it, leveraging data, partnerships, and community-based solutions to simultaneously empower marginalized voices and remove systemic barriers and gates.
Our full public relaunch is coming in February 2026 with our complete strategic plan and first direct-action programs.
