COMMUNITY IS AT THE HEART OF EVERYTHING BOOK MORE WOMEN DOES.
AT THE END OF THE DAY, THIS WORK IS ABOUT PEOPLE.

When she isn’t advocating for change in the industry, she teaches graduate students in the School of Information Studies at the University of Ottawa.
(SHE/HER)
ABBEY CARBONNEAU
I started Book More Women because of my love of music and a belief that you must challenge the things you care about to be better. I saw a problem I couldn't ignore and had an idea to light up the conversation. Eight years later, I'm still here because gender inequity is still a problem. But now, we're ready to do more.
PRESIDENT (SHE/HER)
VOLUNTEERS
Book More Women wouldn’t have become what it is without the volunteers on our team who have devoted their time and ideas to this mission.
